Got this at Walmart for $5 solves the purpose of having more cupholders and I like the elevation when I keep my Mobile Phone.

Had this but the fingers on it broke because the Mustang's vents are too thick for it.

Got this one and so far it's great. As an added bonus it gives me a dedicated phone charging port and leaves the dash usb port open for more thumbdrive music if needed.

This thing was stupid expensive but I grabbed one to use as a vent mount. I turn the vent horizontal but upside down and it hangs perfectly in place where I can still fully view the touchscreen. It never falls out (the magnetic ones kept allowing the phone to fly off if I slammed the gas) and doesn't really vibrate either. Plus, it keeps it in a centered, higher view for MAP use etc.

I cut 3/16 ABS sheet to follow the contour to the right of the display. Attached a standard size ball mount to the sheet, then used double sided mounting tape to adhere it to the dash. Found a nice gravity clamping wireless charger on eBay to attach to the standard size ball. For juice, I tapped into the power outlet in the center console storage (easiest to access), and ran the wires tucked under the console to a 12v to USB adapter (also on eBay). Had to partially remove the dash to run the USB wire to the charger.

Connected to the usb inside the center console, so I can use apple CarPlay on the touch screen. When I arrive home/ office/ shop, I promptly forget it in the console and have to drag all the way back to the car to fetch it again
Shortcuts->Automation->When CarPlay Disconnects set timer to 3 seconds

I can’t count the number of times that has saved me from forgetting my phone.

This is really good but watch that magnet on the back of the phone with credit cards. it destroys them!
I've been concerned about this and have mistakenly placed that magnet on my wallet, containing my credit cards, and they still work. I'm wondering if the newer cards are more resistant to magnets.

Not sure but this happened to me and the card had some difficulty working at two places before it gave up.
My wife keeps scolding me about this every time i have to use one of her cards, lol

I use this + a phone case with a metal ring socket.

Works very well and no issues coming lose when flying over speed bumps at 40 mph. (I set my air to only blow at my feet or windshield. Long rides with the heat on max through the front vents would probably not be ideal)

Metal ring socket also works well in preventing phone from smacking into face when operating phone in bed.
