My window sticker updated today and on the tracking website it says waiting for shipment and then under the “in transit” it has 08 days. Does this mean anything?

Looks like my car is at it's final rail location (Albuquerque, NM), waiting for a truck to transport it the 4 hours to the dealership. So...very....close!!!

There seems to a problem with all the tracking websites, at least here in CA. As far as I can see, which isn't very far, it looks like you are still "Received Awaiting Shipment". When the round dot next to "In Transit" gets a green check mark, that's when it gets shipped.
The number of days "In Transit" is pretty worthless until the car is actually loaded on the transport (rail or truck) and is moving.

Congratulations KB, it's been a long time coming.

What can I tell you, Earl? The brain says go to sleep sometimes before sunset, so I'm up with a full head of steam in the wee hours. I WAS up earlier than the post but the status didn't change for an hour or so after I got up. :-)

Yes, it has been a long time coming, (good track, BTW,) but then I immediately think of the folks like you Earl, way back before the starting gate of this whole 80+ day evolution, with all this wonderful fun ahead of you. My heart goes out to all of those behind my car and I truly hope that Ford gets the ball rolling as I know they can, so these folks can receive the product in a timely manner.

Living in South Texas, I will probably be driving mine all Winter as in addition to rain and wind, we also have many clear blue days in the 60's and even 70's. So for you folks that have already put yours away and for those who will, I sincerely hope Spring comes early for you.

Earl: I swear I want you to take this car and I'll wait for yours..<smiling> What in the world would we all do without ya, man? And I say, SLEEP IN if you can, the Forum will always wait. <grin>

Leaving Ohio tomorrow for the trip home and I'm very much looking forward to that.

Are the tracking websites working for you or did you gat a dealer update?

That is per calling the rail for tracking as well as my dealer verifying the information.

Don't worry about me, I just got back from a ride in my 13 so that takes some of the anx away. Nice day, clear roads and best of all, my left foot was pain free.

Earl I have had no luck with the tracking sites for a few hours not sure maybe doing software patch or just updating

There was talk that Ford was thinking about taking down the tracking program because of all the false information, mainly the erroneous info concerning days to delivery, but I haven't seen any problems with any of the other information in a long time. So I hope they decided not to go through with the plan.

Earl, I do not have a green check and this shows awaiting shipment... is it just error with site? Data dump shows recieved awaiting shipment and mustang tracker previously said shipped convoy, but is not working now.

Last time I check, about 3 hours ago, you were "Received In Transit" so all that's left of your journey is getting loaded on a truck and picking up your car when it arrives at the dealership.

There is a screw-up in the tracking, your car was listed as Awaiting Shipment Received, that was a false status for your car. When I saw it this morning, I called FP and they verified it was sitting in Mesquite, TX on Lot 52. Just waiting for a truck.

I would believe the mustang tracker, if that is the case, your car is on a trailer heading for your dealer, if it hasn't already arrived.
