2020 GT500's Scheduled For Production - Part 1

So my dealer marked my car "hot" last Wednesday and it still has not shipped via convoy. My salesman today talked to the trucking company and they told him that they tried to pick up my car but the GT500s are on a "hold" so my car is just sitting at the rail yard. My salesman then called the regional rep and he confirmed that they are on hold. The rep said he is going to find out additional info tomorrow and the rep told him its possible Ford could be about to issue a recall on the GT500s.

Mine went to Penske on the 10th and this morning, the WS bottom date changed from 12/9 to 12/16. Me thinks a status change is around the corner.

I can’t see them shipping it back to FRAP?? I would think if it made it out the door it would be a dealer issue now?

This is what I've been going through since last Monday. Hoping Ford irons out a solution fast.

This is what aggravated me in the beginning! I had a CFTP car on order from a dealer who was going to sell at MSRP! Don’t get me wrong, after driving and looking at my Base, I’m incredibly happy!! It’s an amazing car! It just seems like a waste that I could have gotten that Golden Ticket at MSRP instead of a $50k mark up

Wow what a deal lol and this is one of my local ford dealers which actually I have a relationship with but even better with another one of their stores. Someone will definitely buy this since it’s in the richest County in the USA called Loudoun County with all the Defense Contractors, tech giants and now Amazons main headquarters. Plenty of money here and plenty of 20-30 year olds making 200-300k a year as well. The good news is your GT500 will retain its value lol.

Weird how Earl just posted a car shipping via convoy so I wonder why some are still shipping while a couple of us are stuck hopefully I'll know more later today

I think the cars that are being shipped now have already had the inspection or repair that all the cars waiting in railyards are still waiting for.

The dealers are not being ask to correct or work on this hold issue. @Epiphany and I have our cars sitting in a railyard in KC since Monday morning 11/9. Our dealer can’t find out what is going on and the rail company now says the cars are on hold by Ford.

Fingers crossed my build #0761 moves from body shop to trim line sooner than later, hoping it gets released before the holiday shutdown just a week away!
