So Earl, will the October cars have lower chassis numbers, assuming the plaque is attached during production?

If the Oct car was Produced before the Nov car, the Oct car would have a lower number.

Spoke with Noah @ FP (first call). Asked about my base GT500 vin#0578 that's been in limbo since 10/28. He tells me its waiting on the vinyl stripes and might get finished in 1-2 weeks. ??? I asked how other cars that were finished and shipped in November got thru faster. He couldn't answer that. I am just guessing, but if it really is stripes, it could be the stripes were not well done the first time and now the car waits to get back in line for the mod shop. (Noah did say that mod shop was the next step for the car).

Grats to those shipping and received - those of use still waiting are looking forward to your pictures and reviews.

Friends & Family are more important than cars, so I will try to keep all this in focus. Merry Christmas!

I might be able to verify or assist that situation, as mine is in mod shop today for stripes. If it moves through faster than yours, we can assume they are staying in order, and the earlier builds move to the back

When the car rolls off the assembly line, it's status changes to Produced. If it requires further mods (vinyl stripes, CF wheels, CF wing) it goes to the Mod Shop. After the Mod Shop, if it gets painted stripes it is sent to Penske. Once it is considered built, the status changes to Released Awaiting Shipment.

None of Oct. cars that have not received all the updates are going to the Mod Shop or Penske. No updates, no cookies.

I am reading all of the scheduled build days to when they actually get sent to the plant, there is maybe up to a 10 day gap. If this is the case I am keeping fingers crossed that by Friday of this week my 0761 will get updated. Would be under that 10 day window.

Transporting or Trailering (If Equipped with Carbon Fiber Track Pack)

Due to low ground clearance, your vehicle is transported from the assembly plant to the dealer with front and rear suspension spacers installed. These are removed by the dealer prior to customer delivery and are provided with the vehicle. If you plan to transport or trailer your vehicle and need additional clearance, the spacers may be reinstalled for additional underbody clearance.

Note: Suspension spacers must be removed before driving your vehicle. Failure to remove the spacers may cause damage to suspension components and degrade vehicle performance.

Interesting if these are CFTP only as I thought the difference in ride height was only 1/2" below that of the base car.
