Thanks. Can't believe it's effectively ÂŁ2,000 more expensive than it costs to buy the same kit in the USA (before shipping and customs charges).

That's the way of everything though, everyone is in to make money.

I had to purchase some specialist servo hydraulic vales for work. They were for a very specialised piece of equipment built and supplied by a company in the USA.

They had a UK distributor, and I went there for the parts, they quoted ÂŁ20k each.

I then contacted the supplier in the States and they quoted $20k each including shipping and taxes.

This was back in 1998 when we were not far off 2 dollars to the pound, so the UK company was just swapping the currency signs and making a huge profit.

Needless to say I bought them from the States.

By the time you've added shipping, vat and duty on the lot including shipping (about 24%?) you'll be in the same ballpark. Then take into account the peace of mind of buying from the UK should there be an issue. Worth considering.

Well, I managed to find a 2019 Mustang GT that qualifies for the 0% Ford Finance deal and I have exchanged my Bullitt order for it. It's not quite the colour I wanted (I wanted Orange Fury or Velocity Blue) but it has the spec I was looking for. It's at the docks right now and should be with me in 2-3 weeks.

Oxford White Manual with Custom Pack 2, Recaros and Magneride. Yeah!

The only 2019 car in stock on the 0% finance offer that I could find with both Recaros and Magneride.

I didn't intend to do a finance deal but I like the flexibility this gives me although I will have to hold off extensively modifying it while under contract.

I was in similar position. Wanted Orange but they only had a Velocity Blue with the spec I wanted. I'm glad you wanted the Recaro seats because I wanted the heat/cool seats so I got my Magnaride / custom pack 2 spec. It was the only one they had with the suspension option I wanted.

Collect it on Saturday woohoo.

Are the Recaro seats also heated/cooled?
No, and they are not electrically powered. You need to use levers to move yourself backwards and forwards and recline.

You've got the button in your photo for the lumbar support and the fore/aft movement though. The back rest is manual in my car with heated/cooled seats.

When I test drove the car last week
the seats had electric adjustment for lumbar support, fore and aft as AB says. also the up down of the seat is electric

The recline is a manual lever.

When I was reading the manual online, there were instructions for seat memory buttons. I didn't see any on the car I test drove. Perhaps there is another seat option available in other markets that don't get here.

Yes, you guys are right! I picked the car up today and was shocked to see lumbar support. Thank god. I was also happy to discover that the steering wheel is heated. Another bonus that I did not expect.
