I did not say put the OEM plugs back, just the ones he took out. They may or may not be OEM. The OP didn’t tell us nor did he mention the condition they were in. I agree that the 6510’s should be fine if gapped properly. At this point we do not even know if he had a problem but unfortunately he does now.Well when you tell the op to put the OEM plugs back in, which have been proven to contribute to LSPI on these engines, then yes this thread will get longer.
OP don't put your OEM plugs back in please, check the 6510's and make sure they are gapped correctly and the tip isn't damaged.
