It'd be nice if Ford would finally put those billet oil pump gear sets in the standard Coyotes. Just sayin'.

Because hand building 20,000 engines a year is not profitable to them unless they increase the price of the car...and the Mustang is already pretty pricey once you add any option to a GT.

Because not everyone needs a built motor capable of 1000+hp. But mainly cost.

Agreed but again, the standard OPGs are adequate for 95% of Mustangs built. Also see above- cost.

9.5:1 compression ... unboosted need not apply.
They also build em in 11:1.
