Oh nice, so by locking out IRMCs I don't have to do anything else with electrical/harnesses? Just bought the Intake Mani, trying to get everything else ready I'll need besides tune
Nope. The wires that connect to the back of the stock manifold (which you will unhook when you remove the manifold) - just zip tie and tape them up really good so they don't go anywhere. You won't be using those wires on the new manifold. Just make sure not to touch the electrical connector for the CHTs. Leave it connected.

Yeah get some extra vacuum hose and some zip ties and maybe a few rubber plug grommets of different sizes so you can plug up any unused ports. For instance the port on the front of the new manifold for the IMRCs, you can just plug that.

Hi, anyone using 2018 IM with a 15-17 PMAS version?

I'm having a hard time fitting the PMAS w/o touching the hood,

should I need the 18-19 PMAS version?

You need a different coupler for it. A few have posted what they used on this thread.

I use the stock coupler you just need to angle it a bit and push the inlet in a bit and push down.

eBay member veeefour made engine cover brackets for the GT350 intake manifold which also happens to work with the 18 manifold. He used to be a member on this fourm but was banned for whatever reason but I bought some brackets from like 6 months ago. You also have to modify the back of the cover with a dremel but after that it fits just fine.

Did the Manifold price go up over the last few months? I thought it was low 300's in August. Also can anyone running it with lund tune on VMP pigtails? I know earlier people were just locking them out but I see a lot of videos with VMP tunes and VMP pigtails throwing no codes runing perfect with imrc's. I know a like 2 months ago I talked to VMP and they said the codes were mostly tune related with other pig tails but they had no issues with tuning their pigtails to maintain the imrc's. However I am lund tuned and don't want to switch tuners and tuner devices.

I got my final Lund flex tune and have been driving it the past couple days. The tune feels great. It drives like stock, except the throttle response is way better and the shifts are much firmer. Throttle response feels on point. Buttery smooth, no complaints with the drivability. Dakota at Lund did a good job with my tune.

Huge power increase with these mods. I was seeing max of 50.5 maf lb/min at 7800rpm where my previous best was 45 at 6800. The ported intake made a huge difference in the airflow and especially at high rpm. So far only driven it on 93 but expecting even better performance on E85.

Overall very pleased with the results and I'd highly recommend this intake.
