Yeah I have no problem with this if they can keep the wheel base within reason, give a decent amount of leg room not Cadillac amounts but usable amounts I would be on board with it, but would rather they call it a galaxy, fairlane, or falcon.... Hell even call it the Torino GT I would be on board.

I for one, applaud Ford for testing the waters for a performance 4-door hatch/suv…

I think we're reading too much into the new video released today. This "4 door Mustang" is the "Mustang SUV/Mach1/all-electric".....they are one and the same, not two separate vehicles.

This is your 4 door "Mustang". This is the all-electric "Mustang SUV".

Complete with pony emblem in its faux grille?

Why wouldn’t we be for this? More revenue for Ford to invest in the Mustang. I doubt they would call it the same name but I could be wrong. Regardless, they know the Mustang is their iconic brand. Hence why they are sticking to trucks and the Mustang. Whatever keeps them innovating and investing in the Mustang platform/brand is a win imo.
