1st time out with 2019 Gt A10

Went to the track with my 1 month old 2019 Mustang GT coupe A10 with 301A - 3.55 gear + Active exhaust.Running on 20'' KMC wheels with Nitto 555G2 tires.Total of 5 runs with 1st run being a 1.87 60' 12.15 @ 118mph and getting the imfamous hesitation on shift.2nd run launched to hi and blew the tires off.3-4 and 5th runs were the keepers as I seem to have found the right launch rpm.
Track conditions were very good and DA was -505'

Am I reading your slips right? You went 11.7 on 20 inch wheels? Stock car? Sorry if I'm misunderstanding your post. But good times.

Yes that is correct.100% stock except for the 20'' wheels + tires with 800km on the odometer.DA was negative and corrected it would have been an 11.82

Heck of a time. All 20s do is slow ya down.

Next time out will be with 17'' Drag radials and 18'' skinnies on racestars.About 40lbs lighter and less rolling resitance and hoping to be able to pull a 1.7X 60'.

real shame you didn't make that pass on the factory wheels/tires but I believe this is the fastest non-DR pass for a '18 to date.

If you weren't breaking traction on the 20"s you may end up slowing down ..theres's a lot more rolling resistance with DR's than there is with a high quality summer tires and your showing a 1.8 60 so traction isn't much of an issue, I had those g2's on my 95 cobra they are a great tire they're just fairly new and word hasn't gotten around much

I am hoping the drag radials will allow me to launch harder and eliminate the wheelhop on shifts.The G2's are basically a revised version of the 555 Extreme with a higher treadwear 320 compared to 300 for the 555 extreme.I used the NT05's (200 treadwear) on my previous S550.It was alot stickier but also quite noisey and only lasted 15000km.

Back to the track yesterday this time with drag radials + skinnies.DA was -921 but barometric pressure wasn't as good as last week.Other stangs ran the same times as last week.

1.791 - 11.498 - 121.4mph
1.774 - 11.512 - 121.6mph back to back were my best runs of the day
