Any real disadvantages other then odd surge and gas smell? Any long term effects on motor ?

I’m assuming you will be catless. The camming is only at idle and doesn’t change the actual tune. Lund says it’s only a novelty. Oh and you will be spending more time at the pump

possibly more timing chain wear due to the constant accel/decal of the engine @ idle

Like everyone else said, more time at the pump no doubt, but we have plenty of customers, as well as Christy here had the cam idle tune on here car for probably well over 2 years and still no issues. Did I mention there is over 100K miles on her 13 GT as well? lol
