I know there are some other conversations going on about pulleys and Prochargers, but hoping I can get some input on my situation. I have the stage two setup and my dyno said I was at 582whp and 8.75psi boost. That was with a previous tune where my knock sensors were going off in the +2 - +4 range at WOT. Now I’m on a completely different tune through the SCT X4 and am loving it because my knock sensors rarely go positive with 17* timing advance WOT. Got me wanting more (go figure). I’m restricted to 91 octane gas and am 4500ft elevation (not sure how much that matters). Just wondering what kind of input I can get from all of you. I really do like seeing the knock sensors (almost) always negative, but guessing if I drop a pulley size that will change?? I’m on the stock PC 4.75” pulley, wonder do they make a 4.625”? What would you guess for whp increase with a change to 4.5” or 4.625” pulley? Also been reading that with a minor pulley change my current tune would adapt? Is this true, what’s the “rule” on that? 91 octane is my problem, but unfortunately that’s all I have. Thanks for any input.
