Searched and found nothing to answer my question, but I have a full exhaust system I pulled off my 2015 before I picked up my 18 and I am almost positive the entire system will fit on perfectly well, but I didn't have a quad setup on my 15.

My question is, did anyone swap everything over and just buy quad tips to bolt on?? I have American Racing's catback. Looks like I could buy a quad tip and it would branch out perfectly. I was looking at the Corsa Quads and looks like it would work but son of a bitch they're expensive. Let me know! Thanks!

i let mine go with my car because i didnt want to cut up the AWE exhaust i had and didnt want to lose the active. But in theory you could line up the exhaust underneath and check. you could even get the quads and see if they fit and if not an exhaust shop should be able to make adjustments to fit.

Your valance would probably have to be changed to support the tips. I know there's quad tip exhaust kits that come with a new one to replace your existing because of that.

I did this, worked fine. I took my Solo Mach XV off of my 16 GT, traded it in, bought an 18GT, ordered new tips, and bolted it back up. Fits perfect.

Fuck yes. I plan to slap the headers on this weekend so I'll see how it all fits and update this thread.

Did you run into anything that was different from the 16??

Nope, direct swap. Now the Solo setup lets you adjust your tips independently of the rest of the exhaust, and I did have to tweak those a bit (up maybe 1/4") so you'll likely have to loosen up your clamps and adjust things a touch to look good in the new valance.

Aside from that though, the rest if it was exactly the same.

So I installed the headers and son of a bitch this was much harder to do on the 18 than it was on my 15. So much extra shit in the way and small differences. Not sure if it's because I hve an auto now or what but anyways I just left the single tips on for now lol but looks like i can figure something out with quads. Still actually doesn't look too bad though.

I would upload pics but I forgot how to and I am too lazy to figure it out lmao

Haha I am working on that. Looks like I'm going to have to order the corsa quad tips and make that work even tho I don't have corsa anything lmao...

Solo sells tips too depending on where your current outlet lines up and how you need to attach it. They look different too, they aren't slash cut like the Corsa's (or stock), they are straight cut like the GT350 valence.
