That's great news! I might have to plan for an earlier delivery date since I doubt it will take 3+ weeks to transport to Long Island. However, we all have seen worse!

I just remembered I think I read somewhere that you were moving back to the States? I was assuming the whole Germany thing to be the reason for delay but I'm guessing you are technically lucking out since you wanted to delay the delivery as much as possible.

Yeah, I'm hoping that's why its taking so long in production. I added the shaker system to my order very last minute to try and delay the process, so that might be why it's been in production so long.

I'll consider myself lucky if my car arrives in late april. at least then my car will only be on the dealer lot for about a week or so rather than a whole month

I wonder if the dealer can put in requests for delays or a specific ETA? I wanted my car in April and it seems like I'm getting what I wished for even though I placed the order back in December.

I don't think they can, the best they can do is store it in house until it gets picked up. Hopefully they have an indoor storage area at the dealership, I'll have to ask if they have anything like that

The last thing I’d do is tell them “no, please delay my order”. Just because this whole order process has so much uncertainty.

I would expect a dealership would hold it for you up to a point, but how long they would is a good question, especially if you asked for them to not leave it outside. It’s worth asking I suppose but I don’t know how accommodating they can be. I have asked the service guys if they can park it inside if there was a threat of severe weather and they have always done that for me. The particular dealership I use may be sensitive to it since one of their locations suffered millions of dollars in damage thanks to baseball size hail a few years back which damaged every car in the lot.

Let us know what they say; I’m curious.

I probably won't ask anything until my COTUS shows "In transit". I want to make sure that indoor storage is completely necessary before asking them to take that step for me. Only issue is that they won't be able to actually place it on the sales floor, because I specifically requested for them not to clean the car. We'll see what happens, I'll keep you guys updated!

Checked with Ford Performance Chat that my car just passed through Green River Wyoming. 1500 miles in 1 week, 900 miles to go. Too bad it's the hard part through the Mountains.

Hmmm, Performance Chat told me that they didn't have the ability to find out where it was; only the dealer could?

I've come to the conclusion that some ford performance chat guys a extremely helpful, and others just don't give a sh*t. Try again tomorrow and see what they say :cheers:

Is your interior seat accent color (for example, midnight blue) suppose to show on your window sticker?

I think my dealer missed something. I guess it's also my fault for not noticing on COTUS as well.

My midnight blue seats show in the upper part of the window sticker. Shows as “Midnight Blue LTHR TRIM PWR”.

Thanks for that. I scoured COTUS but I saw 'color accent trim' so I figured the exact color didn't show on COTUS. I was definitely wrong, but I can live without the blue stitching.
