Just got a call from local dealers with confirmed price for my mustang order

V8 fastback, orange, magneride, spoiler and recaro

Ask 75000 driveway and they are willing to negotiate the price

I think that you have been given a great price (better than mine) and you should take it. There seems to be very little discounting on the 18 and what you have, if it is for an auto is the best deal that I have come across.

I haven't followed MY18 pricing too closely but isn't that about 10% lower than what most have been saying? Makes me wonder if they've given you an ex GST price or if they've already dropped the price.

I think it's just a decent deal somehow. Business to public needs to be inc GST otherwise they're opening themselves to some trouble if someone complains

The total price around 85000, after half hour negotiation, they willing to drop price to 78000 driveway

In one word, yes. I have ordered an auto GT fastback in OF with magneride and forged wheels. Although it should be considerably cheaper than yours I have only got it to $77600 and I have now agreed to that. I went to 4 dealers and found that there was only movement in the pre delivery charges and perhaps paint. This then had the knock on of decreasing the LCT. Mostly there was an attitude of no discounting.

I was implying they may have done it by mistake. Turns out it was a mistake but not with GST.

Was in my dealer today and asked him about the MY18 and he said they would be available from September. I then asked him what a GT convertible would be drive away and he calculated it was $91,500 including MagneRide (approx as can't remember exactly). He also said he could not do any discounts but as I just bought mine from him for $64k he knew I wasn't serious.
