Has anyone run the ARS tensioner who has a Paxton/Vortech or Procharger setup? Any feedback from someone who didn’t have this and then changed to it? Anyone who can compare this instead of moving to an 8 rib setup? Any kind of feedback would be great.

The record holding 2018, runs the stock set up on a 6 rib (HO) system.

And I have never ever ever heard of anyone needing anything for our STG2.

The stock STG2 tensioner in our kit will hold more power then the coyote block can handle on an 8 rib. :)

I’m a couple weeks away from order and install so I’m trying to make final decisions on stuff I won’t want to do later and just do it all up front. 700-800 wheel is the goal but belt slip or throwing a belt and taking out a radiator hose is what I’m looking to avoid. For all I know the 6 rib is just fine. Just lookin at options like the 8 rib or the tensioner. This isn’t a car I’ll take and hammer at the strip over and over. Some Wannagofast events, highway pulls and possibly a couple AutoX events.
