Looks for sure like it's got spacers on the wheels, which as we all know makes a HUGE difference to the stance and aggressiveness of the Mustang... everything Ford normally chuck out the factory usually looks like a tram with stock offsets.
Looks to me like the wheels fitted have more offset. So you wouldn't need spacers.

I respect personal opinion (even though its wrong) and people are entitled to there views (even though its WRONG).

I actually really like the styling (which is a good thing as I am right), so happy days (anyone disagreeing with me is wrong, but I respect it).
Don't make me show you that fugly magnetic again ;)!

Always has to be remembered that manufacturers do tend to 'tweak' all of these little tasters that they throw out pre-production - especially at shows like SEMA. I've lost track of how many cars that I've bought over the years that for some reason always appeared to sit a good 25-40mm higher and with wheels inset a good 15-20mm further than the brochure pics. I seem to recall a pic on a website somewhere taken at a VAG photoshoot where someone opened the boot of the car to find a couple of 50KG bags of sand weighing the rear end down for effect!

The right tires on a supercharged stang and it and it will beat a golf from 0 to 60.Plenty of guys on here putting their power down just fine.

I'm sure that front end will grow on me, just as the excessive hair on my ears and nostrils has started doing over the past few years... and I shall be at the Lakeland, Jarrett-Gordon and Brandon Ford dealerships in central FL in just over a weeks time hunting out a MY18 in the flesh so I can cast a true opinion on it!

it needs some really really good tyres. or slicks. then if you're putting slick son the stang, you have to on the golf, see how it goes?

The yellow car above looks nice, but I think that's probably it's best angle .. maybe the stark colour also takes your focus away from the (IMO) overly fussy opening and angles around the front grill/fogs.

I do prefer the S550.1 but it's still a fantastic looking car and immediately recognizable as a Mustang :headbang:

I've recently picked up a MY16 Black 5.0 GT manual and loving it so far. It's slower than my last 3 cars but way more enjoyable  .. I can't get excited about the 10 speed auto :D .. it may as well be a CVT, the gears will be that close.

Totally understand it'll be way quicker in a straight line, but can't see how it's going to make it a more engaging car.

This may be me getting old, but I'm enjoying the lazy 5.0 GT. It doesn't rattle my bones like the Scooby, and you don't just mash the peddle and hold on like I did in the S3.

Absolutely :amen:

I sold the S3 as it was errrrm dull. A few mates suggested I kept modding it to Stage 2/3 etc. but the problem wasn't how quick it was. Making it quicker wasn't going to make it any better, for me anyway
