I uesd to live around the corner from this place, Essex/suffolk border. Nicest electric gates on a salvage yard you could ever see.Always got mustangs in there.

Be worth more to break for the parts than re-build I reckon?

yup considerably more looks like at least a cat C inner wing and frame twisted probably 20k in parts alone let alone labour and finding someone with a jig that'd fit it on.

Its a cat D
really? with that amount of structural at the front end ? entire left side wing inner/outer/skins and crumple zones need re-doing and looks like front cross member too. as nice as the 350's are I wouldn't like to even attempt to straighten that out over here without easy access to parts and bodyshops familiar with mustangs.

That's what its on HPI as. I would say its doable but as you say cost of getting specialist parts OEM spec, which an insurer would have to do, Would be prohibitive plus finding somebody with a suitable Jig with access to the required datum points over here will not be easy.

Shame it had a front end impact as they would have had people fighting to buy the wings bumper and hood! The rear valence and three wheels is a less attractive proposition.
Going to cost at least £20k to rebuild that and pull it straight.

I'm shocked that someone in the uk owned this car and didn't report into this forum!

The repair is easy enough but the killer is who what's to buy a Cat D GT350 prob cost 11k to fix it yourself but it's still listed, a brand new one easy accessible in the states for £45000 £800 to ship to UK plus duty Vat prob owe you £55000 parked on your drive making the crashed car 10k to expensive.
