I'm having trouble finding the part numbers just for the 6-pot Brembo calipers off the PP 6G's. I've found the FP upgrade KIT but that's not what I'm looking for. Would someone please lend a hand?

And yes: I am trying to piece together my own brake upgrade kit (with good parts). Got to be cheaper than the $1.3K PP brake upgrade. :clap2:

Thanks.

I bought mine locally from a shop that buys wrecked performance cars from auctions. I know a lot of people might be concerned, but I checked the brakes and they were fine, and they work great. I bought the calipers, pads, rotors, brake hoses, and dust shields for $600. I sold my OEM GT brakes for $380. So I upgraded for ~$220.

Thanks guys. I saw a couple of sets of "take offs" on EBay, but the pics are always taken from 6 feet away and the description always says "Like new!" Yeah, OK, sure. So I passed on used. Most were asking $50 less than new ones cost and wanted to charge shipping on top of it.

I bought my Brembos from Tasca for $292/ea, including a $50/ea core charge that I won't recoup. I don't have Brembo cores to return, unfortunately. I don't live in RI so I didn't pay tax and $27 for shipping those bricks, splash shields and bolts is very reasonable.

The magic numbers are FR3Z-2B121-E and FR3Z-2B120-E. That's driver's and passenger's side, respectively. I am assuming they have the BREMBO lettering in white, but I've seen some pics that the lettering appears gray or silver. Hoping for white as it would match my car and look spiffy. :headbang:

The 50th anniversary edition are the ones which come in black glass and white lettering.

Hmm, guess I'll have to see. The FR3Z-2B120-E and 121-E are marked "5.0 LITER, W/HIGH PERF. PKG
" on Tasca's parts page, but if you search for pictures on Google, most pics show white lettering. A few show grayish/silver. To further confuse the issue, Tasca's page shows "50th anniversary" calipers with the same part number. Very confusing.

This listing from EBay shows a FR3Z-2B120-E as having white letters.

There doesn't seem to be a solid definition, shared amongst part sellers of what constitutes a "with high performance package" Brembo and what constitutes a "50th anniversary edition" Brembo.

Were your part numbers FR3Z-2B121-E and FR3Z-2B120-E? <--that's what I purchased. If mine come with gray or silver lettering, I'll probably keep them b/c shipping back to Tasca would be $40, easily. I would prefer white letters but can live with gray/silver. After all, they would still be Brembos. :headbang:

You can buy new decals for cheap in any color you like. I plan to grab the 50th ones in black with white lettering but I'm debating on whether to paint them Ford blue or Brembo red since I have a black car. I kind of like when the calipers stand out from the rest of the car.

Thanks for the screen shot. Here's the confusing part. Part numbers FR3Z-2B121-E and FR3Z-2B120-E are listed for BOTH the "High perf pkg" and the "w/50th anniversary" and are priced identically. Logic tells me that if it's the same part number, then the parts are the same, the white letter ones. I will email them and ask. I received an email from them today saying it would take a week for my "special order parts" to come in before they could ship to me.

Just emailed them. They're closed until Mon, but that should still leave plenty of time for them to either verify I ordered the right thing or change my order. Thanks a lot for all the help!

You ordered the anniversary ones. You still need caliper hardware and rotors, pads I assume to complete it. I would be interested in what your total cost will be with everything to perform the swap.
