So a few of us decided to have a little day out today
We met at Lanark Loch @ 1330ish then drove down to Biggar, beautiful little market town, we were going to do, what I call, Scotland's answer to the Evo Triangle in north Wales.
Bigger - Moffat, past the Devils Beeftub - Selkirk, quick stop at the Grey Mares Tail, the highest waterfall in Scotland I believe, quick coffee further down the road just outside Selkirk, The Waterwheel Cafe.
Here we had coffee and cake and discussed the route for the next McMustang meet, the cafe owners even allowed us to pour over the map while they were closed and clearing up.
Then it was back into the car park for some tyre kicking and exhaust sounding off, 5 Mustangs, 5 different exhausts:
Me - FRPP By Borla Touring
Sudaf - FRPP (?) Borla S
CapitanPug - Miltec
nixopaxo - Dreamscience
KevD - Stock
All this exhaust tomfoolery was to help KevD decide where he wanted to go on his exhaust pilgrimage, but I think it was just confusing, especially when the talk turned to resonated, non resonated, Xpipe's, H pipes etc
So then it was off to Peebles and then home
An absolutely fantastic triangle of tarmac, made all the better by none of the others having done it before
I've got no photos, our photographer for the day, Sudaf, may add some to this thread, but I don't think he took that many either.
Thanks to the above peeps for making it a successful day out and special thanks to Ford for providing a suitable stable of Ponies :ford:
Anyway, that's what we did today, a lovely sedate drive in the beautiful Scottish countryside :first:
