Please, can we get something decent other than MMD and Farumah? I have seen countless posts of non premium owners desiring a good looking, quality diffuser that isn't carbon fiber. I'm not sure if the Velox diffuser will work on a non premium, if so, it's the only option that would be worth a damn...comments...ideas, etc.

I mean seriously...this platform has been out for several years now. I am really astonished that there is pretty much cr*p for non-premium bumper owners for diffuser options; especially since the premium bumper looks better than the base! If I was a vendor I'd be like "hmmmm....premium looks better than the base from the factory...the base owners would want something..." but, noooooo...sorry for the rant but not having good options for base owners seems counter-intuitive to me.
Now, if the Velox one fits base than ok...that would be one viable option.

All they have to do is create an overlay. There are tons of vendors here capable. My opinion is they are lazy and don't want to go to the extra work.

I contacted Velox the other day with that question and good news...it does fit the base bumper. I am going to eventually install it, but need to get my exhaust setup squared away.

I agree with this completely. Been looking for options on this, there's almost none

jperls thank you for verifying...I was only partially sure that one would fit....hey! we have 1 functional diffuser for the base...hooray....sheesh, ridiculous and 5.0Nasty has seen the same as I have in his research....vendors, lame...step-up!
Well, when I get to it, I guess it will be the Velox after exhaust and other stuff first. :(

What is nice is that it is functional...not these fake diffusers that have no real purpose. Look forward to eventually installing it.

Unfortunately it looks like shit. I mean on a premium I guess it will blend in but with a light color car it's just going to look like some cheap stuck on crap, and unless you track your car I doubt the "functionality" will ever be noticed

I think one would be able to paint it...but this is true. The other option could be to get the GT350 close out panel diffuser, but I am not sure if it would work with base models.

You could just buy the whole gt350 rear bumper kit from Ikon for $750 painted. Just need to get some quad tips then though

I thought about that, but then I would actually end up cutting out the parts for the exhaust and then filling it with wire mesh so it could take a dual exhaust setup instead of quad exhaust.

It has only been installed on some premium mustangs. Just do a search for velox motor sports diffuser mustang on google.

Like I said, I have to see what my pending exhaust setup is going to do since I am not sure if this will fit...so I have to get the exhaust squared away.
