Has anyone had any experience with the Centerforce DYAD twin disc clutch kit? It looks like a really nice piece and has some interesting features - a sprung hub center, ball bearing pressure plate, and specification sheet included. It's a little on the pricey side, but seems to have more features than the McLeod piece, for example.

Correct. You would have better luck posting this on FB. :) Forums are going away little by little day for day.

RST is different specs. What are cheaper alternatives that are twin disc, ceramic, and spring hubs ?
maybe it is only one with all those specs but 1200 is a huge difference in clutch price and if the RST is known to work and not be hard on the transmission. what makes the mantic 1200 better?

This kit comes with flywheel so you would have to add that to RST to be comparable. I assume people shopping for this kit want a ceramic clutch for better heat tolerance. While you could get an RXT, this kit has hub springs.

edit: referring to Mantic. I haven't learned if Centerforce is also a ceramic clutch.

It looks like Mantic also has an organic version as well for $1670:
http://www.vmpperformance.com/Mantic-Twin-Disk-Clutch-11-17-GT-MT82-p/mantic-m924236.htm

It says "600HP" but it also says it's designed with a 1.5 safety factor, so really it can take more.

The Mantic also comes with the slave cylinder/throwout bearing, which is at least $100 on its own.
That's still insane. I got my slave from ford for 95$
My rst with flywheel was 760. I'm sure I will hate the clutch pedal feel with the rst but it's not worth paying over double what I did for that clutch.
