So I drove it home from Denver today and 2 things bugged me.
1. The shoulder harness is not in a good place...any way to move it lower?
2. It was very cross windy and the hood moved around quite a bit...is that normal?

1. Not that I know of. Car was designed for a single body type apparently.
2. Yeah

I have a convertible so the seats are different, but in mine if I leave it out of the seat belt guide it sits much better for me.

The hoods are flimsy on these cars, however a set of redline hood struts seem to do the trick!

Made a difference on my car. Without them you have no resistance. also what helps is adjusting the rubber hood stops upward to increase pressure on the hood! A simple twist will do.

I have a set of Steeda hood struts, no movement at all now, even doing 140 down the Top Gear track :D

Only got to 130 ground speed yesterday, but with the high winds, who knows?
Sounds like hood struts might be the ticket then. Anybody with hood struts not get the improved hood stability?
On the harness, maybe one of those padded thingies...what are they called?

adjust the rubber hood stops & it will fix your hood shake.

Congrats on the car! I have been following your posts for a while glad to see you finally pulled the trigger! Let me know if I can help with parts during your build.

Funny. I lowered mine because the hood wasn't flush with the bumper.

Are those basically the same as what I have linked or something different? If you include a link I would appreciate it.
