This might be an impossible question.

What is the average/mean time to delivery from order date.

Just curious. I understand the winter months has an affect.

Thanks.

There isn't one. Some are short, some are long. At bare-minimum, 4-6 weeks if they're building them (I think the 350 is still on hiatus) and you're in trucking distance. 2-3 months if you're out west. 4-6 months if you're unlucky and don't get scheduled quickly. I think some people have been waiting near 9 months, but not sure if that's representative more of the R than non-R.

It seems the average delivery wait is greater than the time it is taking to import mine to Chile. Really surprising!

I signed the import contract on 09 Jan 2017 and estimated delivery date is around 07 Mar 2017. It's been a killing month so far and still another one to go, but it is not that bad considering the waiting times for people in the US that do not have to import and go through international shipping.

For my GT350:
Ordered- 6/11/15
VIN date - 10/20/15
Build - 11/11/15
Delivered - 12/10/15

Six months but I didn't care after the first snow storm and salting in November.

Hum, not that i wish i'll take more time, but your delivery date seems very optimistic.
Who gave you the ETA ?

My 16R, ordred early Aug 15, took 8 months from order to delivery. My 17R was ordered on day 1 for MY17 and it has only been suggested (nothing confirmed even now ) it will deliver in April for a full 12 months.

My only advice, do not get in a hurry. Good luck. :headbang:

There is no set answer to your question as just too many variables to take into consideration such as whether the car ordered was a non R or R model, time of year ordered, VOC priority code, dealership sales volume, production shutdowns, U.S. car versus Canadian car, etc.

My 2015 took 7 months from order date to delivery, 2016 took 9 months from order date to delivery and the 2017 only took 2 1/2 months so no real average time frame at least based on my experience.

Certainly the ~6 months that FR decides to not build any GT350/GT350R's is a big factor for delivery times as well.

It is already built and the car was actually waiting for a buyer in a duty free warehouse in Colombia. Actually, it is an "Export only" titled vehicle, which was built with km/hr speedometers for Latinamerica (therefore the title). It is only a matter of transport and paperwork to import it, so no really long waiting times as when you order to build one. For my luck, the one I bought (of 2 available for import) was spec'd to my exact liking: Track Package race red with white OTT stripes.

The ETA (60 days max after signing) is stipulated in the contract with the importer company and the ship bringing it is scheduled to arrive Chilean ports on 01 Mar 2017. If the dates are not met, then the contract is breached and I get my deposit back.

My 16 took almost 12 months.

Just ordered a 17, thinking I am at the very least bounded by the EOY build window.

Let's collectively hope they start to infuse the exit line with some of our orders :D

Thank you all.

Not that I'm aware of

Well, unless they are making this up, a big snowstorm will be hitting the east coast, NY, Boston and Canadian maritimes will also be hit hard.

OP, so you are saying 60 days from signing contract to delivery if car is already built, that would make more sense.

Wish you luck, and make sure to post some photos with scenery.

As others have said, it varies a lot. To add my data to the list (I am very excited), I ordered an R on 4/12/16. My dealer just today sent me the VIN, with an estimated production start date of 2/27. That said, some people have gotten theirs within a few weeks.
