Good Morning

Having a hard time deciding if I should jump on this deal or not, one of my friends is selling his black drag starts 17x9.5 with hoosiers slicks 28/10/17 pretty cheap. Im on 19 inches wheels now with nitto nt05 305/35/19 making around 650 to the wheels spin city. So I know this tires are supposed to be drag tires but what I do the most is roll racing and am not sure how they will react at higher speeds, friend says he is being racing with them with no issues. The other question this are like 275 wide, so less than my 305 currently nitto, sorry for the stupid question but just making sure, the hoosier will hook a lot better than the nittos even though they are not that wide? Any help is highly appreciated guys, thanks!!

not sure why they are only 275 as you can go wider but they should hook nice being an R compound vs a regular street tire.. for rolls you can just have a little more air pressure in them.. they bias or stiff sidwall?

I wouldn't suggest using those for any kind of extended street duty. In my launching thread everyone is against even driving a short distance. They have extremely soft sidewalls. Depending on the width of your wheels, you might be able to step up to a 345/30r19 Nto5r tire.

I would just use them for race days and keep my nittos for normal driving
