Exhausted looking at exhaust....

Can't not put this here. ^^ Video is just the catback - 304 stainless steel, lifetime warranty, perfect fitment. I now have Krona 1 7/8ths headers on this kit and I can't relay just how spot-on this kit sounds now. The tone that comes out of it is nasty.

I'm curious to hear what this would sound like with an X-pipe instead of the mid muffler.

Thats what I've heard from everyone. I'll have to have my wife drive it past me so I can hear it

I want my wife to do the same thing but she can't drive a stick. I've taken her out a few times and she's getting it but if any cars come into the parking lot she gets afraid of messing up the car so we haven't got past second gear..lol. I'm spring delete but I guess teaching her km that clutch and that horsepower probably wasn't the best plan.

I'm torn as well. Almost to the point of frustration. I've narrowed my choices to

1) Corsa Sport axel back (pricey)
2) Solo Mach XV Cat Back
3) Roush axel back pops up every once and a while.

The big debate is between 1 & 2. I wish I could hear them in person to solidify my choice. I'll have to make a trip south to Toronto in the spring and find some ppl with S550 to hear/decide.

I have #1 and love it. Great mix of the exotic/racy and deeper tones. Corsa's own youtube video of it is the closest to real life/accuracy of sound.

I do but haven't gotten them uploaded yet. I've spent the last ~2 weeks basking in the glorious sound they're putting out, so trust me, I'll definitely update with its own thread soon!

1: Solo Performance Mach XV
2: Krona Performance
3: Solo Performance Mach Thunder.

I pretty much at a point to just throw them all in a hat and pick at random.

Was originally set on corsa extreme... then a buddy of mine took me for a ride in his with flowmaster outlaw with x pipe. I've had it on my car for a few days now and couldn't be happier.

Half the price and sounds amazing. No drone. Love it!

Not sure. But my buddy has a 16 for himself, a 17 for his wife. And I now have a 17. All have the exact same setup. All have 0 drone. And we both travel 60+ highway miles a day for work.

I'm surprised by the "no drone" as well. Every Flowmaster I have ever ran has had drone.

That's exactly what was keeping me from ordering it... a guy at work has the flowmaster thunder? And he said it has drone.

When a woman runs it and has nothing. But good things to say it's a hit. My wife drove my tonight and had nothing but smiles... but I guess everyone has their own opionion on what sounds good.


I'm just glad I didn't have to spend double the $

I had the outlaws with x pipe, horrible drone, worse than any of the several systems I've used over the lat 4 mustangs I've had. It sounded great when it wasnt droning though. But I would absolutely never recommend it to anyone just based on the drone.
