I've been kicking around the idea of deleting the crank case lines running to the intake on the PC. Just not a fan of them, no other reason than ascetics. Two questions around doing this.

1. Any issues this could cause? I would replace the lines with breather filters.

2. Is there another place I could run the IMRC line to?

Additionally, this would also make it easier to pull the intake off at the track and run the PC open.

Thoughts?

I asked this a while back, and it was concluded that the imrc line is actually a release line not a vacuum. So you would just disconnect it and leave it hanging somewhere out of the way.

I deleted my IMRC's, and now I'm deleting my PCV. Haha.

Ultimately I plan on going with the sniper intake manifold. If the boss didn't sit so tall that would be my #1 choice.

I got the boss over a year ago. At that point it was really the only option besides the CJ. I was nervous about notching the hood at first, but it wasn't too bad.

I prefer the look of the Boss. Wish I would have done it prior to going Boost.

That line is a vent line for the IMRC's. You can just leave it disconnected or put a small filter in it.
I have a catch can that is not working the best so I am planning on going the filter route as well. The only drawbacks I have heard of is the car will have a slight "oil" smell inside now and possibly a drip from the filters if you have a lot of blow by.
I just got the new Edelbrock Victor intake. Be a while before i can post anything on it. It is a great looking intake.

I was concerned about oil blow throw of the mini filters as well. But it would be no different than oil heading to the main filter as it is designed now I guess.

It's not my daily driver so smells don't bother me a whole lot. I am lucky in that regard.

I'll check that intake mani out. Is it boost specific?

Its aluminum instead of composite...very pricey...got a deal on mine. It is directed more to the FI crowd I believe.
