I just noticed that there is a lot of debris/rock stuck in the rear diffuser (in fact the middle part is bent/sagging). I was going to remove the plastic under cover to clean it up but I dont know what you use to remove these pins.

There are other set of basic push pins which is fine, those come out with a plastic pry bar easily. These seem to be different, I tried every torx and other things, nothing worked.

DO NOT DRILL THAT RIVET OUT!!!
Those rivets hold the metal mounting arms onto the defuser duct. Just unbolt the 4 10mm bolts and it'll come off.

2 bolts are on the exhaust hangers and the other 2 bolts are on the bumper / defuser brackets.

Thank you! i really appreciate it. I will try this today and report back.

Is it normal/by design that the center of this plastic panel has a uniform 1-2mm gap between itself and the diffuser? I dont understand why there is a gap. Will take a picture of it.

Actually I take that back, take a grinder and grind the rivet head off, once the head is ground off use a center punch or drift pin and knock out the center of the rivet out. Then after that's done to all the rivets, go buy more rivets. Once you get home re-install the rivets. But oh wait! You need a rivet gun! Go back to store and get one! Once you get the rivets on, and wasted all the time and money you'll realize the whole damn thing was bolted on after all. Oh boy. Well you at least got the gravel out of there and now you have a nice new rivet gun and shiny rivets!

Are you an engineer by any chance?
Because I'm a mechanic by trade.

Don't be sad little buddy. I'm only funnin with ya.

I'm a mechanic. Even engineers need heroes!

Unbolt the 4 silver bolts and remove the panel from the car and clean it up. Reinstall. You'll be ok.

And? You are suggesting I drill it out?
No, I wasn't. However your question asked what tool(s). Man, if you don't know what you are doing, don't do it.

It's impossible win with you guys. If I asked how do I remove the diffuser, you would respond with "why dont you get under the car and first take a look and then come back with a specific question because we dont want to do your work for you". I go do just that, now you are saying the question was wrong.:(
