Really cool actually! Can't wait to see it finished up!Did something a little different with my wheel. In the process of removing all the silver / chrome from the interior, this is phase 1 of what I will be doing with the wheel. I will most likely re-do the pieces in a dark gray when the wheel comes back off.
Painted the chrome ring/pony, plus 3 insert pieces a matte metallic gray
I also removed the voice commands and cruise control, next up will be modifying the pieces at 3/9 o'clock to remove those controls and modify the back piece to be see through like the piece at 6 o'clock. I love the look of the basic steering wheels in some of the GT Porsches, so I thought I'd try to replicate that. Super easy to change by too if I find I need any of those buttons.
