4th is correct, closest to the 1:1 drive ratio.

I'm pretty sure Wolfie has a manual (could be wrong though), 5th is 1:1 in the MT824th is correct, closest to the 1:1 drive ratio.
Interesting, I even thought 4th was the correct gear for a manual. That's what we always did with my Focus ST, I know a different car but I thought all manuals regardless were used in 4thI'm pretty sure Wolfie has a manual (could be wrong though), 5th is 1:1 in the MT82
Nah, you want the gear that is closest to 1:1 ratio. You can see how over inflated the torque number is in that graph. Take a look at some of the others and you'll see fifth shows more realistic numbers for torqueInteresting, I even thought 4th was the correct gear for a manual. Cheers mate, that's good to know!Nah, you want the gear that is closest to 1:1 ratio. You can see how over inflated the torque number is in that graph. Take a look at some of the others and you'll see fifth shows more realistic numbers for torque
Just checked my dyno sheet and see that Rob Herrod run in 4th gear as wellCheers mate, that's good to know!
My dyno was also ran in 4thJust checked my dyno sheet and see that Rob Herrod run in 4th gear as well
Hi David,
Here is the dyno sheet from the vehicle in question.
Hi Burkey
Hi David,
Just to be clear, this isn't my car. It belongs to a mate of mine.
As I said earlier, my intention isn't to disrespect either you or your company.
I'm just trying to find reasons why a car running your system (not tuned by you, but by an agent of yours) would suddenly lose its abilities/superpowers
The car in question isn't running your CAI. It was one of the cars that was fitted with the full system so that people could hear your exhaust in the Sydney area.
Frankly, if I had paid money for a full system and tune WITH power gain, I'd be fairly disappointed in the "real world" results that it yielded on THAT day when we did the stock vs SF comparison.
I say THAT day because on the day prior it felt like an animal. To the point where myself and JoshTypeX were seriously reconsidering if we REALLY need to go and spend money on a Whipple... It was THAT good!
So on the one hand, I offer a glowing endorsement of your product, but on the other, we are all at a loss as to why it just decided to lose the plot the very next day.
Is there some way we can log the cars data?
Is it possible that the tune somehow doesn't do its job if certain combinations of drive modes are being used?
I'm just looking for solutions and voicing this discussion on the forum so that we can ALL learn something.
I think you'd agree that the forum serves no function if it fails to educate people.
Cheers,
Burkey

The vehicle PCM tunes do have a wide variety of compensations that will take into account . fuel quality, air temp, barometric pressure , etc etc.
This means that PCM tune will protect the vehicle and act accordingly to all conditions, detuning and uptuning as it requires.
To test properly from one day to another we would have it on dyno monitoring all outputs with our logging equipment.
To try and test on road without any measurements is near impossible to give any calculated conclusions.
No issues at all in 5th gear.Another thing to consider with running in 5th is your speed, to run it right out your looking at over 200kmh at full noise which can cause issues.
hahah nice, you finally got there!Just placed an order for a set of SF ceramic coated headers, and 200 cell cats for my UK GT auto...
Have to say, David has been great to deal with, very patient and thorough..
Looking forward to getting these on the car:hail:
