What about the 5th gens? I've only id'd one 6th gen SS here and it waas by the exhaust first.

Pre face lift, the mail slot and biggest exhaust. Post face lift it was the hood vent.

Gen 5 SS's had the hood vents and a few other smaller front end differences..

My coworker's 2010 has gills. I've never paid attention to other camaros to see if the lesser models had them.

the exhaust tips tell it all...otherwise you can tell on 6 gen on 5 gen it was the slot in the front of the hood...

Is there a quick way to identify an SS in the wild? GT's are easy. Look for the 5.0 from the side or the big GT on the back. With camaros all I know to do is strain my eyes trying to see the tiny SS on the deck lid.

You cant have everything. At least they made the bowtie on front. Normal sized this time around. Captain America could use th 5th. gens bowtie as a shield. That was the first thing I ripped off my old SS.
