I knew it was going to happen once I lowered my car. I was driving in pouring rain and when I went to park there was a piece of concrete sticking up that I didn't see. :headbonk: I gouged the splitter and ripped one of the bumper screws right off. I was pissed. It's been parked in my garage ever since. That was two weeks ago. I can't stand to see her like that. Anyone know where to get an oem pp lip besides the dealer? I've looked on ebay and other sites with no luck.

That sucks.

But don't buy just one, project how many you'll need for a year and get them all at once.

I bought mine from new take off when replacing my non-pp splitter.

The Eibach sport lines. It's the ones with the more aggressive drop. It was like a reverse pothole next to the curb so while I was parking the concrete was partially covered with water so I didn't even notice it. So at first I drove over it which gouged the lip then I proceeded to back up (like a jackass) which in turn ripped one of the bumper clips off aswell as a few clips from the fender well. Freakin California roads are the worst!

was it difficult to take off the old one and install the new one ?
mustangtaxmanNo. Just a lot of push pins and small bolts. I would make sure you have a plastic trim removal tool for taking the plastic rivets out without damaging them. The under tray will have to come off then you can remove the bolts that secure the PP lip to the bumper and it slides forward and off or back and off I can't remember. You will see it has slots that engage with the bumper.

When I ordered my PP splitter from new take off it even came with the hardware.
