Do you guys make a non-tuned version with an adjusted MAF sensor? I'd like to get a CAI, but being 1400 miles into a 2 month old car I'd rather not risk having issues with a tune at this time.

We do not.

If you have a black textered intake tube can this be exchanged for a painted or sent in to you to be painted?

Our painted tubes actually go through an extra step that the non painted tubes do not. This ensures the oils in the plastic of the tube don't leach and bubble the paint overtime. So the short answer is no we don't paint tubes that get sent out in the standard plastic as they haven't been treated. We do however sell the tubes by them selves.

How does it drive? My one complaint about the PMAS CAI due to it being such a large open intake is the throttle is not as finesse as the stock intake. So for a race course, holding the car mid-corner at steady state high rpm can almost feel a little jumpy on the throttle or almost over-sensitive.

I've informed Lund of this and they actually confirm I am not imagining it and is because big intakes are more about power and not finesse so great for drag racing, but not so great for a race track or road course. However Lund are going to get Jon II to finesse the throttle tables for the PMAS and send me a revision to try.

So you HAVE to delete the sound tube with this intake? And where did you route or block off the vacuum line that goes around to the left side of the intake tube?

It only uses the left valve cover breather and the breather for the imrc

Hey man, I have a question for you. Since you deleted your sound tube, if you're not planning on ever using it again or putting it back on for re-sell, could I buy the clip/clamp/retainer off of you? You know, that plastic thing that holds it on? Also, that tube that goes on the left that you deleted, could I buy the black plastic push-clip part off you? Not the entire connector, I just need the release tab that holds the connector in place. I included a pic. I tried to PM you about it instead of asking you here on this thread but I couldn't send the pic with it. Let me know. Thanks either way.

Or if anyone else has it and wants to get rid of it. I lost mine...

What exactly would happen if you ran the JLT intake on an untuned car? Would it throw a code or just run like crap?
