Quality goes a long way and lasts a long, long time! I like to buy Johnston and Murphy shoes, some of their cap toes, I pay $400 for but guess what? Even after 10+ years, they look brand new. Money well spent in my book

FYI their product line centers around the $150-$200 range and they only make a few pairs (one cap toe) approaching $400 because those are the only ones they actually make in the US. Most of it is third-world import garbage.

Check out Allen Edmonds instead. Much higher quality, all US made.

No the choice is yours you can use any construction you desire it just depends on the brand you desire.

Hre wheels prides themselves on invoative and class leading construction technology, but it doesn't mean that everyone has to abide to that standard or else I guess is the best way of saying it.


There are many members that utilize cast wheels here on the forum I just don't advise tracking on them they do tend to be heavier then flow formed or forged wheels
