Continental makes a fantastic tire. I run the Extreme Contact Sport (I know, summer only so not the same as youā€™re looking at) and my wife has one of their all seasons on her SUV. For her car, the Michelinā€™s that came from factory wore out in 20,000 miles. So we switched to Continental for her and with 17,000 miles still tons of tread left. My second set of ECS and no regrets. Iā€™m sure the DWS06 is just as good, thereā€™s plenty of folks on here that run them. Michelin AS4 are good too but for me Michelin seems to wear a little faster.

Anything from Conti is a way overlooked, underestimated tire. And they look amazing to boot! I had the DWS on another car and they were fantastic.

I run DWS 06 plus on all my cars. Can`t say enough good things about them. Even ran them on my Supra and couldn`t believe how much grip I had in snow.

I run the continental extreme contacts, I have zero issues with them. I would buy them again. Iā€™m not going to drive the car in snow but they have great traction in the rain and these cold mornings we have had they still grip well.

Had them on my 911. Nice tire, quiet. Just don t expect the same performance feel from them as a summer tire. You ll notice the difference. Less precise steering. Much more flexible side wall (which gives a softer smoother ride too). If your ok on that they go for them.

I have the original DWS 06 on my car before being supercharged and they are a good tire. Good compromise between ride quality, grip, and handling. As noted, the sidewalls are softer than some other tires so you're going to give up some handling in return for comfort. They wear well. Only complaint is that on some surfaces they can be a little noisy. Have the newer plus model on my daughter's Mustang and the wife's C300.

I've got the DSW06 Plus tires on my Mach 1. They are a touch quieter, a touch softer, and won't kill me during Utah winters compared to the the PS4S tires the car came with. I'd buy them again.

I plan on getting the Extreme Contact DWS 06 on my Mustang next time. I had a set on my 08 VW R32 and they hooked up really well, (although that car was AWD I really loved them. And they were good in all kinds of weather too :) I was pushing snow with the front bumper in the below pic, I was impressed with the grip...

Uugghhā€¦the dang ECSā€™s are getting hard to get like every other tire. I wanted another set and TireRack only has one 325/30 available. Tire choices suck right now.

Try Discount Tire. I just put that size in for my local store and it says a full set is available (1-5 days, they donā€™t keep that size in the store)

I have the Michelin AS4 on the Subaru and the Conti DWS 06 Plus on the Golf and Fusion. Based on the cars they are on, I would rate the Michelin just slightly better but as stated, they seem to wear a little faster, but that could be a WRX thing. The Conti's have not let me down on the other two cars and can handle light snow when needed.
