Stripes

Anyone else considering ordering 'over the top' stripes as an option on their new Mustang?

My dealer has confirmed that they will be a factory option (rather than being fitted by the dealer), however has no information as to design/colour availability at this stage.

I'm keen to see what they make available for my Deep Impact Blue GT - thinking that black would look pretty cool in conjunction with the standard wheels.

Definitely thinking about stripes too! But want to wait until I actually see the car, before deciding.
My dealer said that there may be a chance of the stripes being painted on, as on some other Ford models.
I find that unlikely, as ford.com has stripe packages available with the mustang that are a 3M film. It appears that they are only available in black or white.

I think I'll go with the Over-The-Top Dual Stripes.
Pity they dont have one with the solid top like the GT350...

Looks great! Those wheels look better than the standard 19" black wheels that we are getting IMO!

I've ordered Black and I'm thinking of having some of the lower trim pieces being painted Red to match the accents on my R-Spec. Where you see the Black on the GT350 above, front skirt, side valance and maybe rear spoiler, these would be Red.

Has anyone done stripes on the bonnet and boot lid only ?? The reason I ask is that early GT Falcons & GTS Monaros had them on bonnet & bootlid , I haven't seen any mustangs with this combo!

The only stripe option the mustangs have is faded stripes. Solid on the roof and then fade out each end to the front of the bonnet and lip of the boot. Anything else would have to be a private order to be installed by the owner or a signwriter.

Yep.

I wouldn't have the faded stripes, solid AM ones for me if I was going that way.

Probably from someone like Big Worm Graphix who have a really nice range including a "GT350 look" option.
