If they ignore it or not. It's still our due diligence to send it.Your email to [email protected] will go to one of his multiple secretaries, who will read the email and then send it to the circular file.
Not really, but I do know people that do.Do you know the process of starting a class action lawsuit?
As I said before what do you want Ford to do?
The actual issue?
Is it limp on the street?
Is it in ability to do 30 minutes on the track?
Is it a safety issue?
Etc
How can you send a email with out as a group deciding this? Let alone plan a class action law suit
Agreed! That is why I tried to work with Ford and the dealer. 10 weeks today nothing resolved. I really think the strategy now with them is admit nothing and keep pushing them off. And in my case sometimes the fix or repair creates more damage and that is where I'm at. The original resolution created more problems with the car and now no one at Ford or the dealership wants to deal with it. Just a bad situation for all. Thought Ford may stand behind their product one way or another for all of us.Just keep in mind that if you do establish some line of communication with them, the mere mention of any legal action will cause them to immediately cease communication with you as it then because a matter of CYA and talking through lawyers.
If its a safety issue it need to be quantified. How many cars have hit limp on the street. Is limp mode even dangerous on the street? etcWhy cant all of those be the issue?
Those are all symptoms caused by the same problem the car easily over heating.
It is a very capable car until you TRACK it. Lmao, Anyway, it is pretty sad that you could take any GT Mustang to the track and outlast a GT350 Tech or Base. FORD SHOULD BE EMBARRASSED REALLY!Don't get it out of sorts man, I love my car, it is far better in every way than any Mustang GT made. I've owned way too many cars to list all makes and models. This car is one of the most fun and capable I've ever had. I'm not done with Ford at all. This issue is just a minor set back to me. My biggest issue is really with people saying "you should have know a tech car wasn't made for the track".... Hello, it's a Shelby GT350, it should have no issue at the track. That being said it's a non issue really. Would I like Ford to fix it, sure, if they don't I'll just do it myself if the need ever arises.

If its a false advertising issue that obviously harder to prove then a safety issue. What exactly was false, what are the timelines etc?
You say easily over heats is that true? If ford says fine bring the effected cars in that over heated on the street. How many owners do you have? etc
Just saying some house keeping needs to be done.
What I dont want to happen is email is sent FORD responds and you find out 5 owners have hit limp on the street. FORD pulls the logs and see the limp was really on a track.
OR
Ford says fine we will raise the LIMP temperature 20 degrees.
If the car goes into limp mode on the street, then it needs be to taken to the dealer for service. You should ALSO contact Ford Customer Service as a backup. If its a safety issue it need to be quantified. How many cars have hit limp on the street. Is limp mode even dangerous on the street? etc

I have a base and have NEVER hit limp mode on the track and running multiple 40 minute sessions in the same day. As I posted this is a car by car basis! It is a very capable car until you TRACK it. Its just Firestarter doing what Firestarter does. He has a Track Package GT350 and no issues, so he thinks that we shouldn't be blaming Ford for our issues. Every time someone places blame on Ford, he is here stirring the pot the his irrelevant input that is repeated over and over.If the car goes into limp mode on the street, then it needs be to taken to the dealer for service. If it goes into limp on track, it will be tougher to argue. YES, I know it is a track car.

How is saying defining an approach and a satisfactory outcome irrelevant? Its just Firestarter doing what Firestarter does.
