Just doing what was asked!
And we appreciate it, thx.

Somehow I don't think I'm getting approved.
Oh right so you did post something, so you'll be the guinea pig for all of us that will follow.

Would you mind sharing what you posted on Ford's social media.:gossip:

I like that they say to check out other stories similar to yours. :)

If you don't get approved, we'll adjust accordingly. This campain is part of plan A.

Thx

It wasn't negative. It was just the story of limp mode.

It was submitted already and I don't think I can get it back. Somebody will have to see it for "approval," which it will obviously not be. At least it will get somebody's attention.

Basically said how it went limp mid pass 13 minutes in and then happened again the next session, 2/3 of the day, then ended with "Help!"

Ok cool, so nothing too arrogant, let's see what they do with these kind of posts from actual owners.

If it doesn't get approved, none of us will , so we'll find another way to let the people up the food chain at Ford know we're having issues with our cars.

Everyone's opinion is more than welcome.

I never got a email either. Looks like not approved. I did post another story with no mention of limp mode let's see if that gets posted.

I'm new to this discussion. Track Crazy GT350 invited me to it last night. After reading the ENTIRE thread, lol, i feel everyone's pain. I do agree that Ford did do some False Advertising and should come up with a feasible solution. Seeing as the Track Trans is around $4k and the cooler and lines will almost be about another $1k plus technician pay that is a lot for Ford to swallow to issue a fix for every single Tech and base GT350. Maybe they could look into something a little simpler.
Perhaps they could pay for the technician to remove and drain the tranny, tap and install the mechanical pump and they would be out only roughly 8 hrs pay and the cost of the cooler and lines and more fluid. Or another, initially more costly way they could make us happy would be to just install a Track pack trans but take the Tech pack trans in for a core to upgrade by installing the pump to use in another car. All with keeping the warranty. Because the fact is all of us could've built a track car for $60k but the warranty is what probably pushed us to buy rather than build a track monster.
Thats just my two cents.
This is my eighth and probably last mustang. I was hoping to get the ultimate stang but i see now that isn't going to be the case unless Ford makes it where i can take my car to the track and/or flog it how it was advertised to able to be driven on the road.
I do have to say it was really frustrating to even get a car at MSRP and after ordering a Track Pack last sept for $5k over and then having to cancel after my deployment got cut in half. I then decided again about a month ago that i was going to pursue getting a GT350 again. I got what was available at MSRP which was a Tech Pack and i drove over 700 miles both ways to get it. But thats a whole other story in itself.

Just a tought. But since Ford won't let us post on their site how about we all pick a day and call ford performance on the same day. Overwhelm the phone bank and send Ford a message.

We need to get the attention of the executives outside of FP. If this problem stays inside FP, then it's not getting attention from the Head Of FP. Nothing motivates someone to do their job like getting their boss involved.

Mark Fields is the CEO and president of Ford. Anyone have ideas on how to go straight to him with our problem?

I actually spoke to Tremec about installing the hydraulic pump I'm my trans. Their reply was: while the trans and case is the same, on tech and track cars, there are couple component which would make it quite difficulty to upgrade. It's not a small undertaking.
