wrong colour wheels

So my mustang is at the dealers getting prepped for delivery, but came with silver wheels instead of the ordered black.
Delivery is late this week, anyone have the opposite problem, black instead of silver coming?
If there's anyone that has that issue hoping to arrange a swap via the dealers.

This happened to someone here on one of the first boatloads.

IIRC, it was sorted by the dealer.

Which dealer was this?
Ask the dealer if they have any spares. I don't think you should accept delivery until you are happy.

This has happened a lot. Make sure you get the rims that you want. There is little to no resale on the silver rims

Dealer says they can swap in 3 mnths when another car comes in, I'm not taking delivery unless the swap is added to the contract and $3k is held in obeyance pending promised swap

Just my personal opinion, (and I have black wheels on my race red) but I think DIB looks best with silver wheels.

Totally understand if you've had your heart set on black wheels 'tho.

I have the opposite opinion on these wheels. I am not a fan of the silver wheels at all, initially I thought we were going to pay the $500 premium for black (which I happily would have spent).

Black looks a lot more purposeful on this car

I agree, was quite surprised that the black wheels were standard and the silver was an option.

Ahh, sorry I wrongly thought it was DIB you were getting.

Absolutely need black wheels on TY, especially with black roof. What idiot at the factory put silver wheels on that!!

Maybe it didn't happen at factory but at the dealership. Maybe somebody had a change of heart on wheel order.

Geez Daz...can you change that to over 70....I am sixty next birthday and much prefer the black wheels....silver wheels went out sometime in the nineties......
All our newer cars have black wheels, our old one still runs silver...
