It only comes in black but you are free to paint it whatever color you'd like once in your possession.

What changed from the old tune to the new tune? AFR/timing adjustments?
I just told Lund to send me the file to use the stock MAF in the PMAS housing. He states that nothing was changed other than the MAF transfer.

And since I was unable to log the 116 runs, he says he can't see what the differences are between the two runs.

Just ordered mine through Lethal, so I will also be joining the PMAS revolution (hope it gets to me soon).

**Update**

Went back out this evening and improved upon the times originally posted. I've got the launch technique down on these drag radials now and managed two 1.63 sixty foots tonight and ran a best of [email protected]. I'll update this post later in the day with weather and DA, but it wasn't good, I know that much.

**Weather Edit**

Temp- 82*
Humidity- 82%
Baro- 30.06
DA- 1731 ft

The car is making power and I think the PMAS intake is a big part of it.

PMAS intake (tune req'd), full JBA exhaust with off road H, 170 T stat, Lund tune and Hoosier 315/35r17 drag radials on 03 cobra replica wheels. Car is a manual with 3.31's and Brembos.

Sweet! Congrats on the times and driving skills! I'd be happy to see 11s in my car.

Really impressive, what is your rev limiter set too and what do you shift at? See you have 3.31 with a manual too, so is that traction lok diff or torsion?

Got a photo of the PMAS installed in your car?

Why? As the motor comes from the factory that inherently puts him at a 15hp disadvantage compared to an S550. Two cars weighing close to the same the s550 should at least be that fast.

Under 11.5 with intake, exhaust and wheels. That's god damn good number for N/A motor. Did you do any weight reduction? If not those are strong numbers for full weight and M/T tranny
I just hope you'll stay committed and hit high 10s with minor upgrades while still being N/A. That'd be fabulous. Thanks for updates,

Dozens of people have hit 10s Na with full bolt ons with the s197 coyote (which is what he owns). Probably 100s to thousands actually. Some are already knocking on 10s (11.09-11.2) with the s550 with full bolt ons, one without a manifold upgrade. The trap speeds are there for those people just getting the 60ft down lower is key. The irs is just harder to drag race for most. The intake works well, no doubt however this isnt uncharted area for his chassis or the coyote in general. Plus actually being good a drag racing is half the battle. Most people have the mods but not the skill set to get it there.

Nice job though Derek.:headbang:

No idea what the limiter is set to, it's whatever Lund feels is necessary but I shift at 68-6900 rpm. The car has the traction lock diff.

No weight reduction, other than I guess getting rid of the factory strut tower brace because I hate having to work around it. As far as hitting 10's, that would be great and I am stuck with bolt on's because I am poor lol so I guess that's a goal to shoot for. Next is E85 and then a GT350 manifold sometime early next year. :headbang:

Also, yes, the car is a 2012 but the weights are similar and engines are near identical (except you S550 guys have better heads and cams). The main reason for this thread was not really to talk about track times, but the MPH for HP reference regarding this PMAS intake kit.

I've been talking to Lund this morning reviewing my results and they are pretty amazed that a full weight car is running over 120 mph full weight on 93 octane in over 1700 ft DA. I know other S197 guys have run similar or better ET's, but most of them have full suspension and weight reduction, and the MPH my car is running is something that they (Lund) haven't really seen before and they tune A LOT of cars, as we all know.

The corrected ET and MPH comes to 11.22@122 for those wondering as well, to keep it consistent with my original post. With all of that being said, I think this will be my last update post regarding the results at the track with the PMAS cold air. I'm happy to answer any questions, though.
