Well, figured I'd start a thread for those of us with R's that wish to do mods. I'll go first...

Steeda jack rails and G-brace installed this weekend. Will be taking these to a touchless wheel shop tomorrow to get the Kuhmo 295/30r20's mounted.

Is mine the first GT350R with a child seat?

Obviously, I finished the rear seat kit install. The kit is a mess; there are needed parts that aren't included (2x screws, 2x nuts, 2x studs), the picture details are too small to understand, the specified torque rating damages fasteners, etc. But finally, it's done.

Nice job, Spacebird... Did you call Ford Performance to let them know how terrible the instructions and kit was?

I had a few conversations with them, but they had almost as many questions as I did. They were very helpful in ensuring that the anti-rotation mechanism for the seat belt anchors was done right. Not as helpful getting the missing parts replaced. Needed parts aren't in the instructions, so a "complete" hardware kit isn't. I had to use non-R exploded diagrams to find the needed part numbers then order them from a local Ford dealer

The Ford Performance guys are awesome, I just think this is a very low volume part and they don't have much experience with it yet.

Did the G-Brace help with tram lining? It's incredible how much more the R tram lines over 350. How come 295s on the new tires? I've been considering switching out the Cup2s for 305s PSports.

So, the Kuhmos will be primarily for driving on trips and around town... Needed the weatherability. The 295's provided nearly the same tire height as the stock 315/30r19's and they were only $230/tire.

There's not a lot of difference in tread width to make a difference on the street, honestly.

Haven't driven it with the g-brace yet, so I can't say.

That roll bar  I have the Watson roll bar Donson installed, but that is a thing of beauty!

Nice! PLEASE post pictures as soon as you have the new wheels and tires mounted.

What was the price on the wheels?
