The high prices in Ireland, Holland and indeed Belgium, Norway and Denmark is all tax....

Here in Germany, the GT starts at €43000 ;)

Hi

Similar price to the uk

Nearly ÂŁ100 k in Netherlands is a big price to pay.

What's to stop you buying one in Germany ?

If i have understood correctly, both Holland and Belgium will still add their tax on an import so makes zero sense to do that. So far, i have only heard of a couple of GT's sold in Holland and Belgium, the rest are all EB's.

Was there not something stupid like it cost €25k for an auto box in the Netherlands?
I'm thinking way back to the days when the Euro forum was the only place to be ;)

Yes an autobox increases the price of an EB by 20k, as it changes the CO2 tax bracket.

Net price for a GT is approx €38k, with tax 115-125.

That's why there aren't many GTs here in NL. 11 in total at the last count.

I think we should count ourselves lucky that amount of tax here would have killed the car for sure and probably too the f-type and the new TVR for sure.

The current base price in the UK for the GT is €41365 euros and that's with the current cr*p exchange rate.

And cars registered after April next year are only ÂŁ140/yr road tax (for the fastback)

I wonder what is the cheapest place is in Europe to buy and own the GT?

In terms of all-in prices.

I.e.

Purchase price
Insurance
Road tax
Fuel price

I think the UK will either be cheapest or a very close second. Germany probably up there too.

I had a quote for ÂŁ360 for the insurance from my current insurer. Fuel is quite expensive here though...

But cheaper than a lot of other places.

I pay €1300 insurance (max no claims) and €1.60 ish per litre for 98RON

Yeah I have full no claims and age on my side :)

Fuel here is £1.07 litre [95RON] which is about €1.27. I didn't think there were many places more expensive than here ...
