Hi @Man ders,

I didn't particularly like the red dot, & at the moment I'm really happy with the all over CF effect, but I might do the dot in a solid colour at some point as a contrast (black?).

I think the CF effect looks particularly good against a Magnetic background, it really brings out the weave in the CF.

The dashboard dipping was £250 (for 4 parts as per photos), & the decals were £20 each.

The splitter/diffuser/side skirts are costing me £400 all in, & will be fitted by my friendly local Ford dealer (Think Guildford) next week, will post up pics once done.

That will then complete my external mods, at least those I'm currently planning !!

S.
£400 all in dipped external parts is nice and cheap, got me considering it now, looks the biz! Same with the inside.
Yeah maybe a black, or a solid colour just in the dot would work, totally personal preference.

You'll have to make it to a meet so I can see the dipping in the flesh - I assume the skirts/valance/splitter etc are all being primed and levelled before dipped?

Yes they are, they're doing a proper job for my £400 outlay (which I agree is very reasonable indeed). The parts have been sanded down to level, then rubbed smooth, then painted black, then dipped in carbon fibre, then finally lacquered. The result should be absolutely stunning (if their work on dashboard & decals is anything to go by).

I'm picking them up on Wednesday, having them fitted on Thursday, then showing the car off at the joint MOCGB/SMUK meet in Newbury on 15th. If I can get to Northampton on 23rd I will, but that is by no means a certainty (or even a likelihood at this stage).

The whole external / internal carbon fibre look should be spot on. I feel it's subtle yet very classy, & it completes my desired black edition / stealth look (bearing in mind I also have the US GT deck lid in matt black, plus black wheel nuts).

Pics to come once complete ...
