Oh, didn't think of the transfer fee. Well I already placed the order back in Feb and I got the notice in the mail last week. Now I'm shitting a brick. I mean, I know this isn't a huge deal but I HATE the CA DMV

If you have a AAA membership, I *HIGHLY* recommend ordering through them. You will save a lot of time waiting at the DMV to pick up the plates when they arrive.

I waited almost a year but when they came out, I was among one of the 1st to get them. Low sequenced Bxx xxx plate. I think they are in the letter D already. Much more demand than anticipated. I was also supposed to go to DMV for pickup but they were mailed to my house!

Hmm.. I thought we had to exchange our old plates at the DMV. I was waiting to receive my new plates before applying for the legacy plates but maybe I can order now.

Hang in there. Mine came technically week 16.7.

I see these plates everywhere now in LA. Must be a huge moneymaker for the state @ 40 a pop per year.

Yes, MUST be close now. They are everywhere here in SD too. I have a Race Red GT with the Black Package so the black plate will look better on the car than the white plate I received but never put on my car.

OMG !!! FINALLY !! Last day of week 18 and I still need to make a DMV appointment. Somehow I picked a DMV Office (Poway) that's also not open on the weekends. First appointment... August 11th. The waiting continues.

Does it take less time if the plate isnt personalized? I ordered a regular sequential plate that they ship to my house
