PPPony I've been told by dealer that the GT I ordered on the 24 of July 2015 will be here for delivery on the 8 th of October 2016. As its blend date is the 6 of august , I think the dealers is unrealisticly optimistic.
To be quite honest the fact that customers have ordered their cars up to 5 months after mine and are getting them before me is piss poor . The enthusiasm has died. Bad sportsmanship on my part I know .

Don't be too upset Horseless, you ordered 3 months after me, yet we have the same build date. For every "fortunate result" to be told here, there is someone who didn't do so well. Take heart from the fact (I hope it is proven to be fact) that we will be united with our cars in a few short months. This will become one of those memories that we refer to as having been "character building".

Nice one [MENTION=7882]Drewbo[/MENTION].....yep Horseless....waiting for this thing is a test of character....some of us failed miserably at it....mostly myself. Reading about others that ordered after you and receiving their cars before you is no fun at all. But it is unfortunately common place...partly due to dealer allocation limits and partly dumb luck.
I think [MENTION=20354]tantash[/MENTION] is our forum prizewinner for patience above and beyond and for suffering with grace and dignity.
I know it is a often rolled out phrase to placate those in this situation and it doesnt help much at the time, but you truly will forget all the waiting once the beast arrives..

As posted in the 'Tarago' thread :

When I first did the tracking numbers for Tarago I got USBAL1457532 with 75 VINs for Melbourne, however when I went to finalise the numbers I now get 60 VINs for that booking.

If you are expecting yours from a Melbourne delivery this might explain why your VIN dropped off tracking. The last time cars were bumped off a ship there were tracking updates 'RETURN TO SHIPPER' but this does not seem to have happened this time.

Oh lordy is this real? Research maniacs still show 8 August build. Previous to this coming through tonight etis has always been default 2002 date.
