I was just thinking, we should all get together at some Mustang event and have a competition, see who can tear their dash apart and put it all back together in the best time.

Winner gets a copy of the iGO Nextgen software so, you know, you can tear your dash apart again..... :first:

Ugh. I'm hoping that I won't have to take my dash apart again after adding NextGen. I already suck at DYI and want to keep the chances of me messing something up to a minimum. :D

What if I told you guys that I found a way for ALL of you that don't have a front SD slot to copy files from/to your SD without taking your dash apart? ;);)

I've been like that for a month because my unit is shit. I've been told I'm due a replacement at some point but was given no ETA or other info. I'm about to take another step now.

That sucks certainly not the prefomance i would expect from a refined product offering above tom top. Im not to happy myself, we ask about the ETA on the second batch with fixes and all we get is crickets. There well past the estimated time-frame for shipping the second batch out.

What I find unnerving about this product is that we have forum member X0AYHAM0X apparently coming up with fixes or work arounds faster then moddication does for there own unit. :tsk:

So far this week, I left VM Monday, email via their website Tuesday, and posted here Tuesday, about my screen issue and no reply at all.

I transferred the new nextgen nav from my flash drive to the SD card on the back. It took about ten minutes to transfer the files but much better then taking the dash apart. By the way X0AYHAM0X's version of nextgen works great.
