God dammit.....waiting is a fraking nightmare. And I'm just waiting for my DORA or order number. I know they probably ordered it today but I was hoping they'd email me the number or something. I don't want to be a nuisance and call every day, but I'm going insane thinking about whether it was ordered or not. I'm excited and impatient. EXPATIENT!!:headbonk:

I'll wait until Friday to walk in and ask about it.

Finally scheduled to build on August 4th. Hoping the car gets on the line early in the day.. Located 3 and a half hours from the plant so really dreaming of a Saturday pickup.

Also for any fellow Ford Canada Employees.. No additional incentives for employees during the public employee pricing according to my dealer. Apparently GM and Chrysler complained a few years ago that additional incentives would that the event would no longer meet the definition of employee pricing since employees still get more off.

When are they doing employee pricing? I built one on the ford website the other day and it didn't show any incentives other than $250 off.

It's on in Canada right now, looks like they're just doing the 0% Financing 'Ford Freedom' event in the US

Well that blows. They'll probably do employee pricing the week after I pick mine up. :doh:

I'm getting mine at invoice so I guess I can't complain too much.

I have placed my order way back at the beginning of April and I still do not have a VIN #. My dealer says there is nothing they can do at this point and it is in Ford's hands.

Naturally after placing my order the second day the 2017 mustangs came out, I would expect at minimum a VIN number at this point. I have received no hard evidence from my dealer.

Is there a way for me to get ahold of Ford to ensure my order was at least placed? I am very skeptical at this point that my car was even submitted and my deposit is being used elsewhere. I need some help desperately before I explode on my sales guy.

You can call Ford Customer Service. The phone number is 1 800 392 3673. Since you do not have a VIN, you will need your order number and dealer information.

My car is finally headed my way. It arrived in the Illinois rail yard on 7/18 and is awaiting a truck to haul it to my dealer. ETA is 7/24. If that ETA holds, it will have been 3 months almost exactly from order to delivery.
I can't thank Deysha (and Jeff and everyone who monitors the Ford Service account on here) enough for being my lifeline during this process. I would have gone nuts otherwise as my salesman isn't very good about responding to emails.

Its worth noting when I called they said they had nothing, no eta, no vin, etc, but Deysha gave me a VIN and an ETA. I think they have different tools. So dont be discouraged if the phone employee cant be too helpful.

Just got my VIN from my June 29 order. Told it is scheduled tentatively 4th week of August.
Same here. June 30th order. I got my VIN and build date is scheduled for the same week. I wonder how long it will take to get it to Ontario once it's built.
