No. It took them 10 minutes to come up with that price as he had to go ask how much to charge. I am a little disgusted right now honestly.

No. It took them 10 minuted to come up with that price so I figured someone had to have told him the price. The guy on the phone knew it was way high too. I am a little disgusted honestly. I will just buy them locally.

shelbywannabe I did a little background here. When you called in and the sales rep asked which aspect of the strut tower brace you needed, you said you only had just the brace. So, in the hardware quote we included the $15+ billet aluminum machined Steeda name plate, plus the 6 bolts and 6 nuts that go with the nameplate, plus the 8 nuts and 6 spacers.

If you already have the Steeda nameplate and are just needing the 8 nuts and 6 spacers, it would be $28 shipped.

When a customer asks for certain aspects of a kit rather than the standard part number, we have to touch-base with manufacturing to verify the individual part numbers and pricing within the kit - which can take some time.

Guys if you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to me directly.

I was very specific of what I needed and it took a while to get a price, there was no mention that a nameplate was needed or supplied. I already have a few of your products on my car and have springs waiting to be installed so its not like I am not a repeat customer but even if I wasnt, that price certainly scared me off.

I don't think 10 minutes is a long time to come up with a price at all. Our manufacturing team is extremely busy and we need to touch-base with them in order to get the info we need to relay to you.

Not trying to get into a pissing match but $65 for hardware is insane and thats the price I was quoted. No big deal. I will just get them elsewhere.

You can get them elsewhere that's fine, and no one is trying to get into a 'pissing match.' I am simply clarifying what exactly was included in the quote for $64.

I also included an updated quote for exactly what you need, $28.

Anyone know which brace fits the cars with the PP option ? I see pictures of two types. One with 4 mounting holes in the bracket on American Muscle but on Steedas website it shows a picture of a bracket with 3 mounting holes but the description says you need 4 nuts per side. So which is it ?
Thanks

So which one do you already have, if you just needed the mounting hardware?

Great pics. Thanks. It appears I have the wrong brace. Mine only has 3 mounting holes so it must be the first generation brace.
Guess I will try to sell it.

I will put this Strut Tower Brace up for sale on the Forum as it will not work on a Mustang with the Perf. Pack option. PM me if you are interested in it before I have a chance to put it up for sale this week. It is powder coated silver.
