Is the R splitter carbon fiber? What about the track pack car's splitter?

Does anyone have the R's part number and cost?

Thanks

R front splitter is a single piece of plastic. IIRC the MSRP of the front splitter is $2700 but it keeps changing.

The CF replicas are cheaper.

Ok so the base splitter is a 3 piece plastic. R splitter is a 1 piece larger plastic.

The notion of having a front splitter made out of plastic is primarily for it being cheap and the ability to easily replace it if it gets damaged. I dont understand how a $2700 price tag accomplishes that?

The price of an entire M5 bumper paint, including brand new bumper from Germany cost $2400. I dont understand how the plastic piece from Ford costs $2700?

What am I missing?

I'm sure Porsche bumper is cheaper than that as well.

The consensus is that Ford has raised prices to a point that curbs demand either due to car production needs or more likely to curb the R imitations.

Thanks, this is what I needed. I am trying to see if there is a cost effective way of getting this splitter for a regular track pack. Spoiler is no problem and can be had for 700-800 bucks which looks amazing.

The R wing was designed for the R splitter. Using one on a TP will result in an aerodynamic imbalance if you don't increase your rear downforce.

I have a GT350 track pack. I never installed my stock splitter because I bought the OEM R splitter for $1400 from my dealer. But I own a automotive repair center and get a discount. But I seen the oem R splitters go as high as $4500. Stupid at any cost for a piece of plastic. Even at $1400 it's outrageous but I wanted it anyhow. I did see a used one on eBay because the owner switched to carbon 2 carbon brand.

Only on the track. For street use you'll never notice the difference.

I think that front splitter should cost $1400-1500. Anything above that is too much.

If I had to guess, I'd say Ford is keeping these prices high because its a limited production run. They dont have too many of these parts laying around so there is an overhead cost.

That's correct.

I also suspect it would require a skill level above most casual HPDE participants to notice it on the track, too.
