So I have been tossing around the idea of trading in my ecoboost and have been looking up some dealerships in the area and I found one that had a 2015 GT Prem still listed at $35k. Is it me or is this ridiculously over priced?

Side note...This dealership did not let me test drive a mustang when I was purchasing my Ecoboost. Maybe because I look young (I am 29) lol

It's a Mustang, not a Ferrari, I wouldn't give that dealer the time of day.

That is a highly optioned Prem 2015. Toss up man. I have seen 2016 PP Prem stangs for $35k new after rebates.

No test drive?
Apparently they do not want to sell you a car?

IDK it just seems a little over priced considering it has the old Sync.

Yes, no test drive. My brother and I left baffled that they did not want to let me test drive it. I guess me saying that I am looking to purchase the care in the next few weeks didn't sit well with them

Go to another dealer. I would have raised hell if they denied me a test drive.

They are funny about GT's. Maybe it's a Ford corp thing?

I got a test drive but they refused to let me go without the sales rep. I was 38 years old and a Cop in the city I bought the car in and they knew both details... That's ok.. I made him sit in back and he was 6'4. My son rode shotgun.:clap2:

Go to another dealership. I was 29 last year when I bought my GT. Before I ordered I had test driven a GT, GT PP, and an Ecoboost the salesmen pretty much begged me to drive even though I had no interest.

Regarding the price I agree it's too high for a now 2 year old car.

It's still a new car. Nothing changed between 15 and 17 except turn signals in the hood vents and Sync 3.

Otherwise same car.

Still has significant diminished value. The second he drives it off the lot it's instantly a 3 year old, used car (with ultra low miles). No one gives a crap about the in-service date except for warranty.

And this is my concern.

He has 6 15's sitting there with the 17's hitting the floor & there is nothing particularly special about any of them. I'd pass unless they deep discounted it. Why buy his old (been sitting since 03/20/15), acid rain etched, been baking in the FL sun 24/7 crap when you can a new one for a few $100 more ! Bet the paint is swirled to hell as well from the lot jockies swabbing it with dirty rags 2 or 3x a week.
